Vitazyme on Wheat – 2010-Chile

These four Chilean wheat trials proved that only one Vitazyme application, at either 1.0 or 1.5 liters/ha, applied early in the growing season, was necessary to provoke yield increases (5 to 6%). Two 1.5 liter/ha applications, one early and one later, also increased the yield (3%). On average, reducing fertilizer N also brought a yield reduction, so under these Chilean conditions the ability of Vitazyme to improve N efficacy was inhibited by certain soil factors. These factors could relate to soil microbiology, soil organic matter, compaction, or other factors.
