Vitazyme on Apples – 2012, New York, USA

This evaluation of Vitazyme with retain showed that this biostimulant increased mean fruit weight by 0.2 oz/fruit (+2%), a reflection of an increase in fruit size by 1.9% in the >3.0 inch diameter size; smaller fruit were correspondingly reduced. Vitazyme improved fruit Brix by 0.4 point (+3%), but slightly reduced fruit pressure. These results show a good syner- gism between the two products for the apple grower, and the value of Vitazyme to complement a Retain program.
