A replicated soybean study in east-central Iowa revealed that two Vitazyme formulations improved bean test weight, the Vitazyme A formulation significantly, above the control. Yield increases were not significant, though Vitazyme B improved yield by 1.3 bu/acre over the control. Very high yields during this favorable cropping year may indicate reduced crop stress, thus limiting the crop’s response as yields approached the maximum.
