Field Study

Vitazyme on Grapes – 2011, Santiago, Chile

Although no yield data for the three harvests are available, the greatly improved color of the Vitazyme + Ethrel treated grapes shows the ability of Vitazyme, applied at veraison and at coloring at 2 liters/ha, to advance coloration, and thus earlier, more profitable marketability of the fruit. Ethrel did not perform as well as Vitazyme in coloring fruit in this study of Flame Seedless grapes in Chile; the first harvest for Ethrel alone was 10 days later than for Vitazyme + Ethrel.
