Field Study

Vitazyme on Corn – 2007, Branchton, Ontario, Canada

In this southern Ontario, Canada, study of Vitazyme on corn at two nitrogen levels, Vitazyme was shown to significantly increase grain yield, by 16% above the respective control (no Vitazyme) levels. Moreover, the yield of the Vitazyme + 60 kg/ha N rate was statistically equal to the 120 kg/ha N rate without Vitazyme, demonstrating the ability of the product to improve the utilization of nitrogen. Two applications of 1 l/ha, at planting and again at the eight-leaf stage, brought about this yield improvement. The yield increases gave significant income increases: $74.40/acre at 60 kg/ha nitrogen, and $90.00/acre at 120 kg/ha nitrogen.
