Despite a reduction in nitrogen fertilizer by 25%, Vitazyme boosted income above the con- trol nearly as much as did the 100% nitrogen treatment. Both treatments proved that Vitazyme, applied at planting and at head initiation, is a highly effective yield and income enhancer in Ecuador.
